Hello Internet, and welcome to Episode 8 of the Snow-Covered Lands Podcast!

First and foremost: The audio for this episode is not as great as I would like it to be, there’s some background noise from a room mate cooking at around the 40 minute mark, and just some general bumps and blips in the audio. Not sure what went wrong, but I promise I’ll look into it and make sure we’re back to normal next episode. It’s not even that bad this episode, but we try to strive and make the best content we can, so I felt I needed to apologise for the dip in quality this episode. Thanks so much, sorry again, and hope you enjoy.

This week Eric and Nick spend a lot of time talking through a very important, powerful, flavourful, and all around great set: Lorwyn. This set has so much going for it, awesome tribes, an amazingly unique look and feel to all the art, the first time we ever see Planeswalkers, a surprisingly amount of powerful Artifacts, and a whack load of great legendaries.

You can find Eric’s ‘Lost in the Woods’ Lorwyn-themed deck here, and Nick’s Elemental-Naya-Superfriends deck here.

We should also say we now have a sister podcast: The Commander Cookout Cast, another great EDH focused podcast on Commandersociety! Ryan and Brando do some really great work and we’re more than happy to support and shoutout our Canadian friends from out West (well, west for us? I guess closer to kind of the middle of Canada??). Their latest episode, covering a couple of Lin Sivvy decks, can be found here.

If you need to get a hold of the guys you can do so by emailing snowcoveredlands@gmail.com, @SCLpodcast on Twitter, or on our Facebook page, facebook.com/snowcoveredlands.

All of the music used for our podcast is royalty free and can be found at bensound.com, our RSS feed can be found here, and you can find the podcast on iTunes by searching Snow-Covered Lands.

Thanks so much for listening, and until next time, brave the snow friends!
